When you are able to do so, submit your claim either through the ICBC website or by calling them directly. After a claim has been submitted, you will receive a claim number, allowing you to access pre-approved treatments.

Pre-approved treatments allow individuals involved in a motor vehicle accident after May 2021 to receive treatment during the initial 12 weeks following the accident date. These treatments do not require a physician’s referral or approval from ICBC. The number of pre-approved sessions for physiotherapy is 25 and for registered massage therapy it is 12.

If you require treatment beyond the initial 12 weeks since your accident date, you can consult with your healthcare provider(s), who will then communicate with ICBC to extend benefits.
